Sasha Pivovarova stunning in pleated tulle and metallics for British Vogue.

Working on assembling a solid collection of rings. Found this one over at Modcloth & Svpply.

Downtown From Behind has an interesting concept that has lately caught the eye of Joanna Goddard and Design Love Fest. Looking forward to seeing a few with trailing holiday embellishments.

Good & hopeful Mondays.

Here at the apartment. Just went to favorite Starbucks on Beacon & Charles, and not only are they brewing Espresso Roast, I buy a pound of coffee and the cup of coffee is free. Gold card rewards=amazing.

Rachael & Joe left for their roadtrip a few days ago. Lovely documentation.

Listening to ISO50’s Monday mix.

Stopped at Zara on Newbury this weekend, looks like they have some nice & warm fall coats.

Missing you midwesties.

At long last, Seychelles shoes have arrived in the mail. I have been plotting out this purchase for a while since other great brands including JCrew, Dolce Vita, Free People, and Urban Outfitters are carrying similar styles this fall. See more Seychelles shoes here.

Lonely Hearts

“Every collection has a story. We love to reference things like religious cults, 80’s pop bands, tennis clubs and motocross culture. The worlds we live in – and don’t live in, but are fascinated by – give us our inspirations.”

Lonely Hearts is Helene Morris and Steve Ferguson–lovers, friends, inventors of one of New Zealand’s best loved labels. Here are a few shots from their collections.

KM3D-1, From AnOther + KM&Gypsies, From V

Sunday, October 17th, 2010

An intriguing and beautifully made video created by Baillie Walsh for AnOther Magazine. Kate Moss as subject. 3-D glasses suggested, but video is great without them.

“With a performance that recalls the fantastical cinema of Ray Harryhausen, James Bidgood and Kenneth Anger, KM3D-1 places at its centre one of the most iconic female figures of the modern age. Suspended in time and space, Kate is caught inexorably in the parallax gap; a butterfly in a spider’s web.” – AnOther

Another Moss project released at just the right time–a V Magazine feature: “Kate Moss & The Gypsies”. These are the rich colors, textures, and environs designers and photographers alike have been priming us for this past year.

Hard to explain how sentimental I became when I saw this jacket for sale at Need Supply Co. My dad has worn this vintage denim bomber every winter I can remember, and every year as I got older I tried to fit into into it. No success. Maybe this will be the winter that I have my own.

WHIT is Whitney Pozgay, niece of Kate Spade and designer of a much anticipated line for the upcoming fashion week. Appreciating the black tights/black heels combo—a little leg lengthening for us shortys goes a long way. Was impressed also by her site. All models are just wedged between the H and the T. Recommend visiting.

That’s all for now. Have been pretty absent on the blog this summer. Nantucket-ing has seemingly swept me away. Hope everyone forgives.

Love yous.
